Class Goals:
To distinguish between reflexive, indirect, and direct object pronouns and to combine them.
Class Activities:
Write "pronombres" on board with three categories.
Reflexivos
Indirectos
Directos
Elicit from students what the pronouns are, and ask for examples of each.
Point out main categories of each.
Reflexive:
* subject and object are the same
* voz pasiva (¿Como se dice grasshopper en español?)
Indirect:
* verbs como gustar (encantar, fascinar, interesar, dar asco)
* verbos como: traer, decir, contar, pedir, etc.
Direct:
* replace direct object in a sentence
Students categorize sentences (attached) into three categories.
Go over together as a class.
Which ones could you replace with a direct object?
* Doy el libro a Pedro.
* No tengo las flores para ella.
