We are no longer offering on-site classes at our office in the Golden Triangle neighborhood.

We are now offering private tutoring and classes at your office or school.

Spanish classes at your office, home, or school

We offer classes at your business specifically tailored to meet your needs and goals. In an immersion atmosphere, we will practice conversation and scenarios you will use in the real-world. We will practice speaking about everyday matters, common transactions as well as discussing current and important issues in the Spanish-speaking world.

Prices per student are $144 for an 8-week series of weekly 90 minute classes ($12/hour of class). Minimum: 5 students.

Before and After School Programs

We offer classes for kids at your school or preschool either before or after school. Classes will include games, storytelling, art projects and songs in an immersion setting so that students learn Spanish in an age-appropriate and fun way.

Maria, llena eres de gracia (Maria Full of Grace)

It's no wonder this 2004 Colombian film has been so widely viewed by international audiences: it's relevant, well-done, and thought-provoking. 17-year-old Maria (Catalina Sandino Moreno) works in a small, economically-depressed Columbian town, where she dethorns roses in a factory for a hard-handed boss who limits bathroom breaks for his workers. When she finds out she's pregnant, she accepts a lucrative opportunity to travel to America smuggling cocaine. An insightful view of drug trafficking from Maria's vantage point, Maria Full of Grace is an inspiring story of survival and determination.

Here's a view of the main classroom. As you can see, classes are small, between 5-10 students.

The goal of the Denver Spanish House is to explore the language and culture of the Spanish-speaking world.

What You Need For Class

A notebook and handouts will be provided by the Denver Spanish House, so the only resource you should have for home study is a Spanish dictionary. I recommend either a bilingual dictionary, a picture dictionary or a learner dictionary (such as the Dictionary Práctico del Estudiante).

What to Expect in Class

Classes will be small, between 5-10 students, and will focus on practicing conversations you will have in the real world. Classes will take place in an immersion setting so that you will start thinking and operating in Spanish as soon as possible. We are believers in learning and practicing Spanish outside of the classroom to learn more quickly.
