  1. The capital of this country is San Jose.
  2. The president of this country is Porfirio Lobo Sosa.
  3. The most famous music of this country is tango.
  4. Italian food is very common in this country.

Student pairs received a folder to keep pages of the book they are putting together about the country they are studying. The folder has due dates for various pages of their book including when the rough draft (borrador) and final draft are due.

Students are to choose a festival celebrated in their country. They need to write a page describing the festival in their book (page due next Wednesday) and think of a way to present the festival to the class, bringing it to life. They can show photos, reenact the festival using students in class, show a video, put together a powerpoint presentation or anything else they think of! Students will present about their festival this Friday.

tarea: final draft of book pages (incorporating my edits) of general information, music and food. Be ready to present about your festival on Friday.
