Students spent 5 minutes writing a biography/info sheet about one of their friends to practice past tense, present tense and describing people. A few students shared what they had written.
As a random vocabulary review, we reviewed some vocabulary around time (months, days of week, seasons, dates).
Students who hadn't presented their Spanish-speaker who is no longer living shared what they learned while other students took notes.
We will not have class on Friday since we are between 1st and 2nd quarters of Matrix and there are no Matrix classes for the rest of the week. I will call parents to remind them.
Tarea: students took attached worksheet and need to identify the name, nationality and profession for each person. These are all famous Latin American and Spaniards who students have studied and presented about. The only person on this sheet who hasn't been presented to the class is Nestor Kirchner. Can you figure out which one he is?
