Students practiced the difference between Ser/Estar with the attached worksheet.
In teams, students competed with verb conjugation races (estar, ser, tener).
We talked about Mexican Lucha Libre and learned a few vocabulary words:
* deporte (sport)
* luchador (wrestler)
* perdedor/ganador (loser, winner)
* máscara
Generally, luchadores are rudos (bad guys) or téchnicos (good guys). We went over some names of famous luchadores:
* El santo
* Rey misterio
* Místico
* Dos caras
* Villano
Students had the rest of class to invent a Lucha Libre character, drawing a wrestler or just a mask and coming up with a name.
Tarea: complete their Lucha libre character including mask design and name. Students will present their wrestler to class next Wednesday.
