Before school high intermediates 9/17/13

Students translated the following verbs and we went over them as a group:

salir/marcharse
mirar
tener entender
abrir poner
aceptar querer/desear
aprender ponerse de pie
bailar estudiar
beber traducir
caber hablar
caerse cantar
cambiar firmar

Frase del día: El ave temprano atrapa el lombriz

One group of students taught the preterite conjugation to the group and facilitated an activity to practice. The group taught irregular conjugations as well and students should be familiar with the most common irregular verbs (hacer, tener, decir, ir, ser).

We talked briefly about Mexican independence day which was celebrated this week. Students watched a short video of "El grito de independencia 2013".

Tarea: Read attached text and answer attached questions about Mexican Independence Day.
