Class Activities:
Students wrote a name of the person described below from last class.
- Tiene un perrito que se llama Tuck.
- Le gusta el tenís.
- Tiene un pez, mariposa, y perro.
- Le gusta la comida mexicana, italiana, y china.
- Fue a Europa y Wisconsin este verano.
- Juega al basquetbol y fútbol.
Students had a few more minutes to talk to 3 new students in class, asking questions about themselves including: familia, pasatiempos, favoritos, su maestro, mascotas.
Students shared what they learned about various students to the group.
We went over a few concepts:
mucho/a/os/as
singular to plural:
mesa, mesas (word ends in vowel, add s)
ratón, ratones (word ends in consonant, add es)
lápiz, lápices (word ends in z, z changes to c and add es)
pez plural is peces
difference between pez and pescado
tarea: keep working on memorizing 100 most common verbs
