Class Activities: 

Since many students are on their trip this and next week and our class was in the midst of pair work, we are pausing from learning about individual students' countries and are studying Spain as a class.

Students wrote down everything they know about Spain which they shared with the class.

Students were paired up and asked to create a tourist/visual map of Spain. They need to include the capital, some of the biggest cities as well as areas important for tourism. Their map should provide visuals -- if they were drawing a map of France they would draw an Eiffel Tower as the visual for Paris, beaches for the French Riviera and grapes in wine country.
