Class Activities:
Students worked on attached Day of the Dead related word search. We went over the word search and students talked about Day of the Dead.
Since we are headed to lunch tomorrow, we talked about typical Argentine food and its influences (namely from turn of the century immigration). We practiced some conversations that we may use tomorrow for lunch.
Students chose a Día de los muertos related activity to work on -- either a short art project or Lotería using Día de los muertos vocabulary.
Note about lunch: We ended up not having enough time to go to the Buenos Aires Pizzería and ended up going to La Cueva, located on Colfax and serving Mexican fare.
