Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language: Teacher Training Offered through the Denver Spanish House

This summer, Denver Spanish House will be offering a training for people interested in learning or refining their Spanish-teaching skills.

The training will last 26 hours and will include:

• How to teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking
• Tips for lesson planning
• Interactive games and activities for the Spanish classroom
• Teaching Spanish to professionals
• Incorporating videos, music and other mediums into the classroom
• Successful classroom management
• Managing problem solving
• Observed teaching sessions
• Observing and critiquing other teachers

The training will be taught in Spanish by a native speaker from Argentina with extensive experience teaching Spanish and English as well as a strong background in curriculum development.

Training Cost

The cost for training will be $300 (less than $12/hour of training) and will include practical, hands-on training you can use in the language classroom.
