For students to understand the uses and formation of subjunctive, especially in the use of orden/pedido. Tema: ¿Cómo usamos/incorporamos la crítica en la vida?
This lesson focuses specifically on the orden/pedido use of the subjunctive. Introduce subjunctive in a prior class or at the beginning of the lesson.

Students fill in present subjunctive of poem on worksheet attached.
In anticipation of teaching Pablo Neruda's poem, El Miedo, preteach: reposo, radiografia, retrato, viscera, inaplazable, pérfido
Go through poem in big group or groups of two and talk at the end about the message.
Extension or homework: Shakira, La Tortura, which uses the pedido use of present subjunctive.
Other subjunctive practice: What do we hope doesn't happen today/tonight and what hope does happen.
