Class Activities:
Students wrote names in the attached do now activity describing students in class.
The substitute teacher wrote a conversation on the board asking for help from the group.
Students got into two circles and practiced the dialogue (adding changes and extra questions if they could). Students switched partners and practiced the conversation several times.
In pairs, students wrote a dialogue between a student at Logan and an exchange student coming to study at Logan. Students will present their dialogue next class.
