Class Activities: 

-Students reviewed matching adjectives to the noun it's describing.
-We reviewed the vocab about Dominican Republic.
-We began talking about changing verbs in the present tense, for different subjects. We will work on this more on Friday.

A pair of volunteers practiced a conversation seling something.

Our last group sold some food and drink today from the Dominican Republic. Students practiced buying and selling in Spanish.

We went through a bunch of currency we have in the Spanish room from around the world and came up with a list of countries and currencies:
* Costa Rica -- colones
* Chile -- peso
* España -- euro (formerly peseta)
* Honduras -- lempira
* Perú -- sol
* México -- peso

Tarea: no hay (I'm giving students a break until after expo)

-Students practiced using "saber" and "conocer" for talking about different things they know.
-We reviewed how to talk about having met someone.
-We played a "beisbol" trivia game where teams created questions for the other team to answer.
-I handed out a map of Dominican Republic and student practiced spelling cities out loud to one another.

Class Activities: 

-Students answered questions about the Dominican Republic.
-We participated in a "mercado" (market) exchange in Nikki's class. Students used vocab to buy and sell food items.
-TAREA: none--a few students need to re-do their previous homework

Class Activities: 

Students read an article about the Dominican Republic and answered some listening comprehension questions.

We played a verb drill game standing in a circle and tossing a ball conjugating conditional verbs.

Students were paired up and had to come up with 10 clues for an amazing race activity going to different rooms in the school using the conditional (This is where you'd go if you wanted a book).

Tarea: memorize 12 irregular verbs conditional
