3rd Period Matrix w/ Kimber: Fri Dec 12

Class Activities: 

-Students translated sentences from English.
-We talked about verbs in present tense and played a game for practice with conjugation.
-We talked about the next project, on a Latin artist of student's choice. Students will work in pairs and research information on the artist to present to the class. We will make decisions next week about pairs and artists, and then students will have time to work in class after break.

AS Beginners: Fri Dec 12

Class Activities: 

-Students answered questions about the artists we've been studying.
-Students took an oral quiz on conversation questions.
-We reviewed verbs and played Simon Dice.
-We talked about the next artist, Diego Rivera.

We talked about observations of the 20 famous songs in Latin music.

Students were in groups and assigned to a station to practice either:
* verb conjugations
* opposite verbs
* drilling 100 most common verbs
