Mi libro: sobre mi, futuro

Class Activities:

Students arrived and wrote about themselves on worksheet attached.

Our final project of the year is having students write a book about various aspects of their lives, using what we've worked on this year (including present, preterite and imperfect verbs). They received a folder with a checklist (attached) with dates that the pages of the books are due in the next few weeks.

Last student presented his review topic on reflexive verbs. At this point all students have presented while other students took notes. We are having a short quiz Thursday about these review topics:
* números
* la familia (vocabulario)
* tiempo
* pronombres posesivos
* futuro (ir a + infinitivo)
* 2 verbos
* gustar
* concordancia

Tarea: use notes to study for quiz on topics above. Also, most students had a few mistakes on one of their old projects "cuando era niño" and since it will be a page in the book we're making, students need to correct mistakes and hand in a new final copy by Thursday.

Conversaciones: vocabulario de viajes 4/27

Class Activities:

We played game using the words students had written about travel (pasaporte, maleta, extranjero, etc.). Students each had an allotted time to describe as many words as they could get other students to guess (not using the word). After going through all the words, we played another round where students could only say one word to get the others to guess. The final round involved acting out the word and students guessing the word.

Tarea: no hay.

Part 2: Using imperfect to tell what he or she used to do (ie: when he/she was young). Part 3: Using preterite to tell about a typical day (describe what he/she did yesterday). The project will include drawings and will be presented to the rest of the class when completed. We will work on this during class time unless otherwise notified.
