Sobre mi: el futuro

Class Activities:

Student corrected their quizzes from Thursday as their first activity.

We are continuing to work on student books about their life. As we just learned future, students wrote about their future plans (on attached worksheet).

To break up time writing in their books, we played an activity where students were assigned a famous person (the name was put on their back so they couldn't read it). They had to go around room asking yes/no questions about themselves. ¿Soy político? ¿Soy mujer? ¿Soy viejo?

Students worked on another page in their book, Mis cosas favoritas. In more of a list than text style, they made a list of several of their favorite things. Por ejemplo:

  • color
  • comida
  • sabor de helado
  • música
  • restaurante
  • película
  • actor/actriz
  • libro

Tarea: page for book: Un viaje especial. Students will write a text describing one of their favorite trips.

Students are to choose a festival celebrated in their country. They need to write a page describing the festival in their book (page due next Wednesday) and think of a way to present the festival to the class, bringing it to life.
