Class Activities: 

-Students reviewed travel vocabulary.
-Students worked in partners to correct their homework assignment.
-I handed back quizzes and told students to continue studying their common verbs at home.
-I handed out a travel dialogue sheet that students will present to the class in partners.
-We talked about creating something for the Festival of Lights. We decided to make a large flag of Argentina as a class.
-TAREA: Students should practice their dialogue at home. They may need to look up online for famous places to visit in the city they choose. They should also study their common verbs.

Class Activities: 

-Students practiced vocab by describing a picture on the board.
-We reviewed how to talk about the calendar.
-We played Simon Dice and reviewed some commands.
-We finished reading "Las aventuras de Isabela".
-TAREA: Students should answer the last question of the sheet on "Aventuras".

Class Activities: 

-Students reviewed clothing vocabulary.
-We went over the last homework assignments and students made corrections.
-I handed out animal names for those found near Iguazu Falls in Argentina (copies in the folder).
-We talked about the weather and students received vocab lists (copies in the folder).
-Students were also given a copy of the complete clothing vocab list (copies in the folder).
-We played a game for practice with what type of clothing goes with what weather phrase.
-TAREA: Students have a worksheet with weather/clothing vocab due Friday (copies in the folder).

Class Activities: 

Students arrived and did a pair activity practicing weather related to cities in Argentina.

We talked about class projects and students know when they are to present. They will have some time next class to work on their project.

Students read an article about Argentine food and answered some questions about it.

We played a jeopardy game to practice some recent concepts and students competed in two teams.

Class Activities: 

-Students reviewed body parts and fruits/vegetables.
-We went over the date, day of the week, and weather.
-We played Simon Dice.
-Students read their stories to a partner.
-We talked about how to ask for the cost of an item and students practiced in partners (Extras are outside my classroom).
-TAREA: Students have a worksheet to complete for Friday. Copies are outside my classroom in our class folder.

AS High Beginner: Tues Dec 10

Class Activities: 

-Students corrected sentences from the board.
-We reviewed numbers 1-100.
-Students were given a dialogue to practice between an exchange student and a student at the Logan School. We will practice more in class and begin presenting on Thursday.
-TAREA: You may practice the dialogue at home to be prepared for class.

-Students had a pop quiz on the most common verbs in infinitive form.
-We reviewed numbers over 100.
-Students shared their comic strips with the class.
-We discussed new vocabulary on travel. We did a listening activity for practice.
-TAREA: Students have a question worksheet for Wednesday.
